Hush: Siren II
26/01/12 at 06:01:07 amHush merges various street art approaches with traditional art practices to create complex and original work. The artist presents contemporary depictions of traditional portrait and figurative imagery through an inventive mix of seemingly incompatible themes and aesthetics.
Hush has participated in exhibitions worldwide including galleries in Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, London, Basel and Berlin. Hush had a successful solo installation of work open last Saturday in San Francisco at 941 Geary.
His work has been featured in a series of publications including The Independent newspaper, where he was recognised in their list of the ‘Top 20 Up and Coming Artists’.
